Uusi Puu Award 2018

Innomost Oy has won the Uusi Puu Award, or “New Wood” award, for commercially applicable wood-based products or processes, tapping into the global challenges, in the category of Changing Population Structure. The winners were awarded on the 13th of November 2018 in the Musiikkitalo cultural center in Helsinki, Finland.

The cosmetics industry is growing globally in double digit percentages in the near future, and new innovative ingredients are needed already. Innomost products are highly applicable in making cosmetics production more sustainable, as user bases and applications multiply.

The goal of the Uusi Puu project is to increase awareness of the wood-based bioeconomy; highlighting new and existing products and solutions, exploring their impact on society, and offering expert perspectives on the outlook for this innovative industry.
