We are excited to welcome our new Research Chemist Josefiina Haarala to Innomost team!
Josefiina is responsible for R&D and product development processes. Her work includes research, development, and validation of analytical methods. She works in close cooperation with production and sales to solve the customer needs with innovative high quality solutions.
Josefiina has Master of Science in Chemistry from Oulu University. During her studies she got interested in circular economy and the use of industrial side streams.
“I joined Innomost because I have a great interest in developing a new generation of sustainable ingredients from renewable resources. By upcycling forest industry side streams, we are creating innovative high-value products for greener, more sustainable future “she says. “It is fascinating to be part of a growth company. It is very motivating to work in a team where I can contribute to the development and growth. Also, I have the opportunity to develop my knowhow and acquire new skills. Together we are building a future success story.” Josefiina continues.
Previously Josefiina was been working in the pharmaceutical research and development projects. During her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her Havanese dog and spending quality time with family and friends.
